Analog Devices - Quad-channel isolators based on proven iCoupler technology (ADuM140E)

Technology Cover
Date de Parution: 2016-01-05, Analog Devices Inc.
ADI's ADuM140E four-channel isolator based on iCoupler technology, which integrates high-speed CMOS and monolithic air-core transformer technology. The isolator has a maximum propagation delay of 13ns, a pulse width distortion of less than 3ns, and a close match between the channels is 3ns. The data channels are independent and come in multiple configurations with a rated voltage of 3.75kVrms. The ADuM140E isolator has a power supply voltage range of 1.8V to 5V on either side, making it compatible with lower voltage systems and enabling voltage conversion across the isolation barrier. The ADuM140E isolator ensures DC correctness without input logic transitions. These devices are well-suited for general purpose multi-channel isolation, serial peripheral interface (SPI) / data converter isolation, and industrial fieldbus isolation applications.
