The AD9952 is a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) with 14-bit Dacs (digital-to-analog converters) up to 400 MSPS. Can operate in the extended industrial temperature range from −40°C to +105°C.

The AD9952 uses advanced DDS technology, coupled with internal high-speed, high-performance Dacs, to form a digitally programmable complete HF synthesizer capable of generating sinusoidal analog output waveforms with flexible frequencies up to 200 MHz. The AD9952 is designed to provide fast frequency hopping and fine tuning resolution (32-bit frequency tuning word). The frequency tuning and control words are loaded into the AD9952 through the serial I/O port.
