The 74LVC1G3157 single-pole double-throw analog switch from Diodes Incorporated is designed to multiplex digital or analog signals. Its low on-state resistance ensures high integrity when routing audio signals, making this switching solution ideal for a wide range of advanced consumer electronics from mobile phones, tablets and e-readers to personal music players, handheld games, satellite navigation Products and other audio equipment. When the device is powered by a 5V power supply, its on-state resistance is less than 6ohm, which enables routing of input audio signals and even supports output routing in low-power applications. Its typical off-state leakage current is 20nA, which provides a high degree of isolation, allowing components such as resistors and capacitors to be cut into or out of the signal path for programmable filters or different gain configurations. It is designed for a 1.65V to 5.5V power supply range and can handle the signal amplitude between VCC and ground. Regardless of VCC, the control input can be up to 5.5V, and the control pin includes hysteresis, which can shorten the rise and fall time of the input. The X2-DFN1410 package occupies only 1.4mm2 of board space, allowing designers to use multiple components to route multiple signals, while the 0.5mm lead pitch simplifies board assembly. The device is also available in a SOT363 package.
