Maxim MAXM17543EVKIT is the evaluation / demonstration circuit of the MAXM17543 high-efficiency, synchronous step-down DC-DC switching power supply module. The evaluation kit is designed for 3.3V output and provides up to 2.5A load current. It provides a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 42V. The kit switches at the optimal 500kHz switching frequency to allow the use of small components. This helps to minimize solution size while maintaining high performance. The evaluation board provides a precision enable input and an open-drain / RESET output signal. With external frequency synchronization, this provides a simple and reliable startup sequence and eliminates beat frequencies between regulators. Applications include base station load point regulators, distributed power regulators, PGA and DSP load point regulators, HVAC and building control, and industrial power supplies.
