ON Semiconductor - High-current synchronous buck converter for high-efficiency systems (NCP3232N)

Technology Cover
Date de Parution: 2015-05-26, ON Semiconductor
ON Semiconductor's high-current NCP3232N synchronous buck converter is designed as a high-efficiency voltage-mode synchronous buck converter that operates over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 21V and produces outputs as low as 0.6V at currents up to 15A Voltage. This device provides non-destructive low-side FET current sensing, 500KHz switching frequency, external programmable soft-start, output over-voltage and under-voltage protection, system over-temperature protection using thermistor or sensor via OTS pin, for everyone H mode operation failure, pre-bias start, adjustable output voltage; power good indicator, and internal overheating protection. The NCP3232N high-current synchronous buck converter is particularly suitable for applications such as cellular base stations, telecommunications / network equipment and servers / storage systems.
