Texas Instruments (TI) ALM2402-Q1 is a dual high-voltage high-current operational amplifier with optimized protection features that can drive low impedance and / or high ESR capacitive loads. The ALM2402-Q1 operates from a single power supply of 5V to 16V or a separate power supply and can output DC up to 400mA. Each op amp includes an overheating flag / off. It also includes independent power pins for each output stage, allowing the user to apply a lower voltage at the output to limit Voh, thereby limiting on-chip power consumption. The ALM2402 package is a 12-lead leadless DRR package and a 14-lead lead HTSSOP (preview version). Both include thermally conductive power pads that help dissipate heat. The extremely low thermal resistance of these packages enables optimal current drive while minimizing chip temperature, allowing users to drive large currents under harsh temperature conditions.
