The Qorvo QPF4532 5.0ghz Wi-Fi 6 front end module (FEM) is optimized for IEEE 802.11ax systems. FEM is now available for purchase from Mouser. The QPF4532 has a frequency range of 5150MHz to 5850MHz, transmission gain of up to 31dB and low noise factor of 2dB. This highly integrated device integrates a 5Hz power amplifier, regulator, SPDT and bypass LNA into a single package. The compact form factor and integrated matching of the device reduce the layout area in applications.

At 3.3V supply voltage, the performance of the finite element method is focused on optimizing PA. This feature saves power consumption while maintaining high linear output power and leading-edge throughput. The receiving path matching optimal technique maximizes Rx sensitivity over a wider range of conditions through noise coefficient performance constants. Integrated mode-level filtering for second and third harmonics, 2.4GHz to suppress DBDC operation. For application feedback, a DC power detector is combined into the package to generate a voltage proportional to the output power of the transmission path.

The finite element is packaged in a compact 2.5mm x 2.5mm laminate.Typical application areas include access points, wireless routers, residential gateways, customer presets, and the Internet of Things.
